My husband particularly liked the smoked gouda grains, while my personal choice was the Bru's breakfast bowl topped with cheddar biscuits and scrambled eggs, and my husband was particularly enraptured by the sweet and sour cream on top. The Skinny Elvis costs $8 and is made with the same ingredients as the Cotton Blues Market burger, but with a little more flavor. Hubert's für 8 is a delicious sandwich with sprout bread served on the side and a generous portion of cheese on top.
The Oreo Crumble Cakewalk Beer is an imperial stout that contains crumbled chocolate cream, waffle biscuits and vanilla ice cream. It is a surprisingly refreshing cocktail made from coffee liqueur, butter lard brandy, shaken with heavy cream and garnished with toasted cinnamon peel. The cheesecake at Cotton Blues is so good that Delish and MSN named it the best cheesecake in America.
It's big enough to share with several adults, but you also have to eat every bite, so enjoy it with your favorite adult drink, such as the doorman.
Perhaps that should be added to the list of things to eat in Hattiesburg, but I would do myself a disservice if I didn't mention what you get best at Cotton Blues, namely their cheesecake. I can confirm this as one of my favourite cheesecake of all time, and probably the best I've ever had. The food on the dessert menu is phenomenal and I chose it because it was phenomenal, because sometimes you need a little indulgence. No matter how much food there is, your husband must eat it once in his life before you do it.
After a brief stay in Florida, St. John moved back to Hattiesburg and opened two restaurants and a bar. His next venture was in the restaurant business, which did not succeed, so he got out. He did not get off well at MSU and had to drop out after graduation, but eventually finished his last two courses and returned to Mississippi and Hattieburg, where he worked in a restaurant.
